Show Some Love- Send a Care Package
Thanks to Hooked on Houses for hosting Hooked on Fridays and Fifi Flowers for hosting Fashionable Fridays.
I got home from running errands one afternoon this week and there was a box waiting on my doorstep. Woo hoo!! My mom sent me a care package.
This ritual started when I went away to college at 17. Roughly once a month I’d get a package from my parents. The content would vary from food to clothes to personal goods. All of it was appreciated. My roommates would gather around when someone got a package and if there was food, we’d all partake.
Little Miss Petrie enjoyed this package. She got a beautifully illustrated book on birds and a pile of clothes.

Lots of Small Paul gear- very hip and comfortable.
I LOVE this purse!! It’s roomy, thoughtfully laid out and turquoise, one of my favorite colors.

These sandals are so me- bohemian and comfy.

Mom, thanks for helping me be a little hipper with these great accessories!
Have fun reading all the other gorgeous posts!
I sure could use a care package! My mom usually does it for all the holidays, or anything closely resembling one… Now that I have so many darn sister-in-laws they just don’t come quite as often!
You did get some great things. Lucky girl!

That’s such a sweet thing to do! I used to do it for my little brother when I was in college — send him “cool” things from the big college city world. Now I try and do it for my niece & nephew. It’s always so exciting to get mail! BTW — love the sandals!!
Ooooh, lucky you!! I wish somebody would send me a care package!!
The turquoise purse is great — love that colour
And it even matches the shoes!!

Lucky you! Can’t say I’ve ever received a care package “just because”.
First of all your little girl is adorable. And how nice that your mom send you care packages STILL! Consider yourself lucky and loved.
Have a good day.

LOVE the bag and sandals! CUTE face!
What a MOM! Wow!
Your blog is beautiful, by the way.
Ooooh. I have those sandals…they ARE comfy and cute! What a great turquoise care package! Lucky you. Have a great Mothers day. Your little girl is adorable!
Isn’t it fun to receive a care package in the mail?! My mom used to do that too. Love the turquoise bag and sandals and what an adorable little girl too! Happy Mother’s Day!
That’s a great idea! My little sister will be having a baby soon, and I think that will be a great opportunity to send her a care package a few months into it.
P.S. I’m having a little giveaway at my blog today.
Check it out!
Hi there,

You have to go to my blog and see my wonderful care package I just received today too!! What a coincidence. By the way, good thing you live in a different state or I’d be there stealing that purse. : )
