Almost as Cheap as the Library
April8
We were at Savers this week. They had two huge carts of brand new books. I imagine the books were from Costco or Sam’s Club. I’m always looking for books to give as gifts and I hit the jackpot with children’s books.
These beautiful hardback books were $.69 each and buy 4 get the 5th free! I got 7 books for $4.23!

Wow! Great deal for hardcover books! They would’ve been more than that at my Goodwill.
I love giving books for children’s gifts! Your find beats my favorite go to gift. The Dr. Suess books at the checkout line at Kohl’s. They have the book for $5 and the matching stuffed animal for $5. Not expensive, but not as great of a deal as you found!
you did outstanding girl…Ann
I LOVE the Dick and Jacne books. My daughter is 11 and a BIG TIME reader. She started on those books when she was 4 and still loves them. They are sentimental to she and i. You got some Great deals! Hope to see you next TT and drop by on Monday to enter my giveaway!
I love the dick and jane book. What an awesome find!
Wonderful buys! And I have to smile to see “Dick and Jane” again — although I am pretty sure today’s Dick and Jane are far different from the ones who lived in my 1st grade readers.
What a good bargain … and books are such excellent gifts for children, too.
