Casa Petrie

This is the first year we have planted heirloom tomatoes.  This variety is yellow and delicious!

Heirloom tomatoes are from seeds that are passed down from generation to generation, rather than lab created hybrid seeds.  Nature is truly amazing in all its diversity.

I have been serving our garden tomatoes as a side dish at least once a day.  I think I might be ready to use our tomatoes in a homemade tomato sauce or salsa.  Or maybe not, if the heirlooms continue to create such tastiness.
