Sunflower Grove

I planted a couple of sunflower seeds in each vegetable box.  They are very tall and started to flower this week.

The bees are going crazy for the sunflowers.  We’ve had such a wonderful experience watching insects of all types enjoy the garden.

Have a sunny day!

I love sunflowers, and yours are just gorgeous! Mine are in bud but not bloom yet–soon!

I would expect when the seeds of the sunflowers mature you’ll see alot of finches and other small birds hard at work eating all the seeds – it’s nice to be able to garden in harmony with the rest of the natural world.
