Deconstructed Caprese Salad

(I love deconstructed salads.  Actually, I love using the word “deconstructed” to describe food.  It seems so snotty, but it just means separating food instead of mixing it up.)

Our tomatoes are finally ripening, so I picked up some mozzarella and grabbed some basil from the garden and we have our favorite summertime salad.  Mr. Petrie grilled french bread with olive oil as a quick side.

Enjoy your day.

That looks good! I want the bread. I’m a carbaholic.
