Casa Petrie

Mediterranean and Makeup

April4

I’m a member of the local moms club and one of the activities the club offers is Mom’s Night Out.  On this night, we went to Que Bonita, a makeup boutique, and then had dinner at Yanni’s.

I really struggle to find makeup that doesn’t cause me to break out, so my friend said she wanted to check out mineral makeup and suggested I join her for Mom’s Night Out so we could get a makeover.

We checked out the goods.

This lady did a great job on our makeovers!

After we picked up some new makeup, we headed over to Yanni’s for Mediterranean food.  It was tangy and delicious.

The food was great and the conversation flowed freely.

I generally go to class on the night the club has Mom’s Night Out, so it was lots of fun to dress up and be a girly-girl for a few hours.  I hope all of you enjoy a night on the town every so often!

My oldest daughter – 21 – has sensitive skin and is prone to break out with any make up – until this!!! The coverage is soooo natural. Many mineral make ups tend to look heavy. This looks like it isn’t there. I was amazed what it did for my 54 year old face. I get a lot of comments on how pretty I look!! At my age – that’s worth something. I bought the basic 14 piece set plus their eye liner pencil which I like better than any other….. I found you linked on The Animator’s Wife blog.

Sounds like a well deserved and fun way to spend an evening!

Thanks for dropping by DesignTies and commenting on my natural stone post. I don’t blame you for wanting soap stone counters – I love them too! I think they look particularly great with white cabinets. I hope you get them one day!

Hope to see you around DesignTies again soon!

Hey, that picture of those three girls is hot! Lol! I had such a great time! I don’t think one should ever pass up flaming cheese! I have been thinking about and I really want to go back and get the kit. My face (and everyone else’s) looked so smooth. Have you used yours yet? And?? And what did Sir Petrie think of your snazzy look?
