Recycling Pavers and Teacher Gifts

Miss Petrie’s school needed pavers for a small walkway and we had some.  They are concrete and heavy!  I moved about 100 of them this morning so a school employee could take them.  They’ve been sitting in our front yard for a couple of years, so it works well for Miss Petrie’s school to get them for free and for us to get rid of them.

I’ve been trying to figure out what kind of gift to give Miss Petrie’s teachers.  She has 2 main teachers, 2 arts teachers and 3 coaches.  I happened upon a super sale on plants.  I got the large pots of geraniums for $3 each, the smaller geraniums for $1.50 each and the chile plants for $0.25 each.  Isn’t that a deal?

I made tags in the school colors for each plant.  I purchased pots at Target ($1.24 and $0.74 per pot) for some plants and used some containers I had.

It’s still very busy here because Miss Petrie is in school, but she’s almost done!

Have a great weekend.
