Pruned Trees

We finally took the expensive leap and had a professional come in and trim our large Chinese Elm trees.  Generally, we try to do our own home repair and yard work, but at 25 feet tall, it was going to cost us more in time and money to get the proper instruments than to call in a professional.

The city has a program that reimburses customers for pruning trees, up to $100 per tree.  I should get the credit on my bill sometime in the near future.  But even without this rebate, it was worth the money to help the trees look better and healthier.

I love the canopy of trees on the east side of the house.

Four men came to prune and clean up the branches.  It took them about 1 1/2 hours.  They towed away SO many branches.  It would have taken me days and days to get rid of that debris if we had done it ourselves.

Have a great day.
