Homemade Yogurt

I finally got up the nerve to make my own yogurt.  I don’t know why I waited so long.  It was so easy and so delicious.  I used the recipe from this site.  We opted to add gelatin to thicken the yogurt.

The ingredients were cheap and you warm the milk in the crockpot. (I bet that doesn’t surprise you that I used my beloved crockpot to make yogurt, does it?)

I estimate that making the first batch of yogurt cost approximately $2.50 for 1/2 gallon of yogurt.  If you are a yogurt eater, you know that is cheap, cheap, cheap!

Have a great day.
