Casa Petrie

Last week it got cold enough to kill off the vegetable garden.  We can see the veggie garden from our main living area, so I thought it might be fun to plant a winter garden with pansies and kale.

We bought a $25 flat of pansies.  There were more flowers than I thought!  I was able to use them in three of the five boxes and two medium sized pots.

I was told to water the garden once to twice a week.  I hope to show you pictures of a more lush garden in the coming weeks.
