Cookie Party Favors

For Miss Petrie Deux and my dad’s birthday party, I made chocolate chip walnut cookies as party favors.  I spent a very cold afternoon baking a mountain of cookies.  I baked over 100 cookies.

I wrapped two cookies in parchment paper, then tied the package with jute string and a tag stamped with “Celebrate the good things”.

Mr. Petrie, Miss Petrie and I made the tags the day before.  They also helped me wrap up 50 packages of cookies.

I love the way the packages of cookies turned out.  I want to experiment with wrapping other baked goods this way and presenting them as gifts.  Wouldn’t it be cute to get an assortment of cookies wrapped in different little bundles?

I think people liked the party favors because not one was left at the end of the night.

Have a tasty day.
