Valentine’s Day Prep
Since I may be down for the count around V-day, I thought Miss Petrie and I could work on cards for her classmates on a cold and dreary January day. We found this Valentine’s Day card kit at Walgreens for about $3. It included a mailbox that meows when you open it, 35 cards, and 40 red heart stickers.
Walgreens had lots of character and cartoon cards, but this is what Miss Petrie picked. I have lots of heart stamps, so Miss Petrie enjoyed embellishing her cards. I wrote her friends’ names on each card. We brought out extra stickers and decorated some colorful envelopes for each card.
I’m glad we’re prepared to hand out V-day cards. I deliberated adding candy to the cards, but I’m trying to keep candy out of our house. You can read here about my candy paranoia. (I joke with Miss Petrie’s dentist that we’re his best customers.)
I’m excited to see what other bloggers are doing for Valentine’s Day this year.
XOXO

My boys are working on their cards this afternoon, they love it!
