We’ve been diligently working on getting through this list.  The blue text highlights items that got done this week.

The BIG Getting Ready for Baby List

• Clean and adjust infant carseat; get car washed and vacuumed
• Wash and organize baby clothes DONE (5 bins of clothes later…)
• Buy: baby wipes, baby soap, baby lotion, bath mat, large containers for clothes storage, changing pad, changing pad covers, newborn diapers DONE
  
• Pack baby’s bag for the hospital and extra diaper bag for the car almost done
• Install a dimmer switch in the library
• Clean and organize breast pump
• Check and buy new supplies for baby medicine chest
• Organize changing table with diapers, toiletries, newborn clothes, burp cloths, and blankets DONE (I used canvas bins from Miss Petrie’s room to organize all of the stuff and it looks very uncluttered.  I’ll have to take a picture and post for you all to see.)
• Organize linen closet, ensuite bathroom cabinets, hall bathroom cabinet, television cabinet, gift cabinet, Miss Petrie’s bookshelves
• Finish wood floor thresholds
• Install peel and stick tile in both bathrooms (to cover the world’s ugliest vinyl floor) DONE
  
• Get estimates for shower stall resurfacing almost done (2 down, 1 to go)
  
• Paint ensuite bathroom walls and ceiling DONE
  
• Prime and paint cabinets in both bathrooms
• Dust walls, ceilings, and vents in all rooms
• Vacuum and scrub sofa DONE
  
• Buy Miss Petrie a big sister gift DONE

We did a few extras, too: we painted the ensuite bathroom and the rusty vents in both bathrooms.  It was a very productive week.
