The Garage Peacock

Thanks to Tales from Bloggeritaville for hosting Thrifty Thursday.

We went to a friend’s garage sale and found this peacock stained glass.  It was cracked in quite a few places, but at $5, I thought I could use the magical glue gun to give the cracks some stability.

We have two windows in the garage that I have covered with white curtains, but I think the peacock would dress up this area a bit.  I’ll set him in front of the curtains.

Have a thrifty day.

Not only is your find thrifty but it is stylish. Peacocks, from what I have seen, are very “in” right now.

Wow, anytime you can find a cool stain glass piece and only pay 5 bucks for it, you know you got a great deal!

The title got me. I swear, it totally reminded me of the time that I saw my neighbor man in his garage. Naked. Sick. Which has nothing to do with the Garage Peacock, but you know what I mean? No? I don’t either. I’m losin’ it. Hope you are well! :)

Peacocks are terrific and I would have never thought to do what you did about the cracks but it was a terrific idea!
